MycoRAW™ Rye Berries 8oz consists of 100% organically grown Rye Grain (also known as Rye Berries). Rye berries are the most preferred grain by novice and expert mushroom growers for colonizing bulk mushroom substrates with a grain spawn. Rye grain has been used for years by both hobbyists as well as commercial style mushroom growers. After preparing and inoculating rye grain spawn, mycelium grows very fast as it allows aeration and more surface area for the mycelium to grow, not to mention the great moisture retention. Rye grain, when processed for mushroom grain spawn will approximately double in size after processed.

EX. 8 oz of dry rye berries after being processed will equal 16 oz approximately.
