Gorilla Mushrooms™ MycoBLUBALLS™ mushroom desiccant is ideal for dehydrating & long term storage for all varieties of mushrooms! With color changing technology these desiccant balls turn from blue to pink when they have absorbed all that they can. Renew your MycoBLUBALLS™ by following the directions below.
This high quality blue indicating silica desiccant contains 100% Blue Beads. Each silica gel bead measures between 2-4 mm each. When moisture is present the blue beads will turn from a dark blue to light pink when it absorb and saturates the medium. Our blue silica beads contain only 0.005% cobalt chloride. Beads can be reactivated by placing in the oven for 30 mins to 2 hours at 200-250 F Or Microwave for about 10 minutes at DEFROST. Don’t use over 250 F in the oven. Depending on bead’s condition, they may take shorter than the recommended time. Please check the bead’s color periodically. Great for mushroom drying purpose’s and many other applications.
