Culture Media T-Shaped Spreader are disposable spreaders facilitate uniform streaking of culture media. Use these spreaders to level out your Agar in your petri dish. These spreaders are made of high quality polystyrene plastic, are smooth and flexible and gamma sterilized with a sterility assurance level 10-3 (EXPIRED 06/2021).

PSILLY NOTE: The gamma sterilization expired 6/2021. They are still in sealed packaging and are still perfectly fine for spreading culture media. Just by “lab standards” the gamma sterilization has to have an expiration date and that exp. date has run out. It doesn’t affect the ability of the tool to do it’s job. For this reason we are listing them at a 50%+ discount.

The gamma sterilization only really helps in a lab/clean room setting. If you are not using a clean room, the minute you open the package, the gamma sterilization immediately expires as you are exposing them to open air contaminants. Follow normal sterilization methods to assure your tool(s) are sterilized.

Packaging is still intact, and have never been opened.
